24 Hour Fitness Center Sees 63% Reduction In Lighting Costs Thanks To NZLED®
24-hour fitness centers consume a significant amount of energy, and since lighting is kept on all day and night it can contribute to more than fifty percent of monthly energy costs. Thanks to an innovative LED lighting retrofit from NetZero USA®, Anytime Fitness in Lancaster, SC has reduced energy consumption from lighting by more than 63% and created a more energetic environment for exercisers inside their facility.
Meeting the needs of Anytime Fitness’s 24-hour operation meant utilizing LEDs that replicate natural daylight to create a bright space for clients to enjoy their fitness experience. This has proved hugely beneficial to staff and members, boosting motivation and productivity.
Thanks to this LED lighting project with NetZero USA our facility now has better lighting which displays more vibrant colors and requires little to no maintenance. NetZero USA used 30-watt NZLED® 0347 Retrofit Kits to upgrade the outdated, inefficient fluorescent lighting at Anytime Fitness. As a result, over 33,000 kWh are being saved each year, and the facility is on track to save more than $42,000 dollars over the next 10 years.
