LED Lighting Upgrade Provides Savings, Improved Illumination In North Carolina

Opened in 1923, Lebo’s has been selling footwear, dancewear, and western wear in Charlotte North Carolina for many years. Unfortunately, their inefficient fluorescent lighting has been around almost just as long. Lebo’s contracted with Net Zero USA to upgrade their outdated T12 fluorescent lighting to modern, more energy efficient LED technology.

The project involved retrofitting nearly 100 fluorescent light fixtures with Net Zero USA’s 40-watt LED retrofit kits. As a result, Lebo’s will realize a 76.9% reduction in their lighting costs, saving over $35,000 dollars in the next 5 years.

This project was a no-brainer. We’re saving vast amounts of money and improving our illumination. The before and after pictures speak for themselves – I’m very happy with the excellent job Net Zero USA did on this LED lighting upgrade, and looking forward to receiving the same great results at my other 9 stores.Mark Goldsmith, Lebo’s Store Manager

Net Zero USA’s LED lighting retrofit at the Lebo’s retail store included a 231.5% return on investment, or a payback period under 15 months. The lighting upgrade will more than pay for itself under the 10/5 year warranty Net Zero USA offers on their LED strips and drivers, respectively.
